I have been toying with buying a new lens for my camera, but I had no idea what sort of difference the focal length would actually have on the field of view. A really clever person has made a very cool focal length simulator. If you want check out the difference between a couple of lenses, please visit http://www.guraband.com/flash/AVS.swf.
Usually removing or uninstalling applications on a Mac is pretty easy. Adobe Acrobat Reader is not very easy to remove. In order to remove it from your system, do the following:
Use the excellent RCDefaultApp preference pane to change the pdf & PDF File Types so that they are associated with Preview
Remove the Adobe Reader application by either moving it to the trash or by using an uninstallation application like AppDelete (which I also really like).
Remove the Adobe Updater applciations which can be found in the Applications/Utilities folder.
Move the old Adobe Updater folder to trash
Navigate to /Library/Internet Plug-ins and move AdobePDFViewer.plugin to the trash
If Safari is open, close it and re-open it
I’m pretty sure that will completely remove Reader from your Mac.
